Beyonce Leads BET Awards
Nominees announced today for BET's annual June 26 Awards show.
Beyonce is nominated for six BET awards this year, including best female R&B artist, best collabo (for "Upgrade U" and "Deja Vu" with Jay-Z), video of the year (for "Irrreplaceable" and her duet with Shakira on "Beautiful Liar"), and viewer's choice.
Coming in at Bey's heels with three nominations each: Jennifer Hudson, Ciara, Akon, Gnarls Barkley. Garnering two noms each were: Robin Thicke, Ludacris, Mary J. Blige, Diddy, Ne-Yo and Gerald Levert, RIP. Meanwhile, Diana Ross will receive the lifetime achievement award, and Don Cheadle will be presented with honors for his humanitarian efforts.
The Awards ceremony, hosted by Mo'Nique, will be broadcast live from Los Angeles on June 26. Scheduled performers include 50 Cent and T.I., with more to be announced.

Say what you want about B but she will be a legend. You think people everybody liked Diana Ross, Tina Turner, or even Aretha Franklin in their prime. NO, they were hating just like people are doing on Beyonce now. When you find an artist that can perform as well (and dance simultaneously) as Beyonce and sell albums then you can hate. Then on top of being able to really sing she is a beautiful women. I don't care how many Ciaras, Rihannas, or even Jennifer Hudsons (even though she can sing) come long. Bey is already a legend and will continue to do what she does best...make great music.

People always hate the best. Some people truly don't like to see people hold it down for long periods of time. Thats why people hate Kobe, and hated michael Jordon. What you should be doing is respecting there effort and dedication. And also the music business is one of the toughest industries to excel in. Why and the hell would Beyonce let someone else shine. Even if your hot in the industry, it usually doesn't last long. Especially when your a women, becuase when your beauty goes, usualy your career goes with it.

There could never be too much of the best. that is why they are called the best. Yes there are a lot of talented female artists out there but obviously she is on top right now. I put it to you this way. When there is a female artist that can get on stage and sing the way she does and at the same time run aroud that stage and have a flawless performance like she does every year, then people can justify their haterism. But she is right now the hardest working female in the business. Upgrade your thinking caps!
