We are loving, loving, loving this video/track from Mya's forthcoming album. A paean to a woman done way wrong, and obsessed with driving past her dude's house, threatening to find his sorry cheating self and take him down. She's about to get SERIOUS. The flaming silhouettes and hotel montage help. LOL at the dude's expression when he answers the hotel room door and finds our girl at the helm.

I thank a big part of the problem is that in this situation we are NOT thinking about ourselves so that is why we act like we have no home training when this happens.
Yes, it is very sad that we women feel we need to hunt a man down and see exactly what it is he is doing wrong. Our intuition tells us when something is not right but it is easier said than done to be able to let a sorry man go when you need to. I believe we just need to strengthen as women and and realize that 9 out of 10 times if a man is doing this it is because he wants to.. and somewhere along the line whether he has a personal issue or not, he lost respect for you because he knows he is wrong when he is doing it. If you are not married and that is his excuse ..let him go so he can get his childish ways out of his system because he is not going to stop until HE wants to no matter what you do! Mya is beautiful in the video though and she is only saying what women do everyday..this is a realistic song like it or not.

I think it's a shame that a female can think so little of herself that she would go looking for a man with the intent of harming him; and/or, to "get back" at him. I'm teaching my daughter that loving one's self, and having high integrity and respect for one's self, is much more important than a man, and who he might be "cheating" with. Why must our stories be told in this fashion?
