The world definitely seems to belong to Nasty Nas lately thanks to the hype, controversy and critical praise of his ninth LP Untitled.
According to Billboard.com, the Queensbridge MC is looking to debut #1 on the Billboard charts this week and has sold approximately 113,000 units as of Friday (July 18) - better than the majority of first week sales in hip hop this year. It is looking to have sales about 200,000 copies this week.
Nas' last number one album was the December 2006 release Hip-Hop Is Dead, which sold 354,000 copies during Christmas week.
