T.I. will be working with the Hip Hop Caucus as a main spokesman for this year’s “Respect My Vote!” program, helping to encourage voters between the ages of 18 and 29 who have never attended college to become more active and erudite in the presidential race.
T.I. will be leading the campaign, along with several other celebrities, with a mission to “bring about the social, political and economic development and empowerment of all women, men and children throughout the world.” The Caucus will offer a national debate as an opportunity for everyone without a chance to speak objectively, which will give everyone nationwide the ability to work towards the elimination of poverty, the highest quality public education and the elimination of racism, racial profiling and police brutality.
Reverend Lennox Yearwood Jr., the Caucus president and a co-founder of the 2004 “Vote or Die” campaign with Diddy, expressed his feelings in a press statement, saying that regardless of the outcome of the presidential race, if the younger generation has no input there will be no hope for the future. “No matter who wins in November, if large numbers of young people do not vote, then we all lose,” Yearwood’s statement said. “It does not bode well for the future of our country, and our Democracy, if young people, particularly those who are not in college, are not engaged or involved in the electoral process. This campaign is critical in strengthening our Democracy an thus protecting our freedom.”
T.I. felt similarly, and showed his sentiment for such a monumental event. “I look forward to urging the masses to take advantage of the right that I no longer have.”

HA. I just realized I'm super late with that one but it infuriates me when people do positive things for our community and society and negative people hate on it. Its just sick. Why would you choose to use your energy that way? When someone gives you a chance or a break when usally you feel as though its you against the world, its life changing. Dont knock people down to put your self up. You should recognize these men (Obama, TI) as somthing beautiful and positive.

Why is this particular campaign so critical to our Democracy? Because, Barack Hussein Obama is Black. If so, Stay at Home! We don't need/want your vote!
Hopefully you're like T.I. and can't vote ....

It's real cool that T.i. is telling folks to vote and all but he has felony convictions.... He's not even allowed to vote.
He's all on TV talking bout " if you ain't part of the solution, you part of the problem."
He should be speaking to young people telling them how not to end up being part of the problem. How not to catch felony charges so they don't get their right to vote taken away......
