We want Jennifer to know that she is in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time
A dead body matching that of Julian King, the 7-year-old nephew of actress and singer Jennifer Hudson, has been found in Chicago.
According to TMZ, the body was found in the 1994 white Chevy Suburban owned by Jason Hudson, the murdered brother of Jennifer.
Over the weekend, presidential hopeful Barack Obama released a statement offering his support to the devastated Hudson family.
"Michelle and I were absolutely heartbroken to learn about this unimaginable tragedy and we want Jennifer to know that she is in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time," Obama said.
An award of $100,000 was offered for finding Julian safe and sound. King was described as 4 feet 11, and 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a striped brown polo shirt and khaki pants.
On Saturday, Julian’s mother Julia Balfour held a press conference asking for the return of her son. "My greatest fear has already happened, my greatest hope is for having my child. I just want my son," she said. "That's all I have to say. Just let my baby go." On Sunday, Hudson posted a MySpace message asking for clues to her missing nephew:
"Please keep praying for our family and that we get Julian King back home safely. If anyone has any information about his whereabouts please contact the authorities immediately."
That same day, she went and identified the bodies of her mother Darnell Donerson, and brother, Jason Hudson. Both were found shot to death in Donerson’s South Side Chicago home on Friday. Following the deaths, mourners and supporters gathered outside Donerson’s home to pray.
William Balfour, the brother-in-law of Hudson, has been taken into custody for the murders. The 27-year-old has yet to be charged. Balfour had previously served close to seven years behind bars for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking and possessing a stolen vehicle.
“Out of no means did my son do this. This heinous crime to this family is unbelievable. It's unbearable," Balfour’s mother, Michele Davis-Balfour, told the media.
Hudson is best known for her Acadmey Award-winning role as Effie White in the 2006 film Dreamgirls. She recently became engaged to fellow Chicago native, David Otunga, from VH1’s I Love New York 2.

This is exactly why people become famous and move out of the hood because their is to much negativity that comes with living there.... which is sad because we as a people should be able to make some money and build our communities up instead moving and giving our money to a suburban community that doesn't need the help.... RIP to Jennifer Hudson's family
