The mother and, what’s believed to be the brother of singer and Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson were both shot dead earlier today in Chicago.
According to the Associated Press, authorities are investigating the deaths of both people— Hudson’s mother Darnell Donerson, and a man believed to be Hudson’s brother Jason—whose bodies were found in a home on the South Side of Chicago. The shootings occurred around 3 p.m. According to TMZ, a cousin of Hudson discovered the bodies. Police had no other details.

We are in very trouble times now. Only God knows why that person or persons committed those heinous acts. I know that sorry will never seem to be enough for you Ms. Hudson but know this God will forever help you and your family through this trajedy. God Bless and so sorry for you and your family's extreme and difficult loss!

Jennifer, please hang in there. I can't even imagine the pain that you and your family are in right now, but remember there is a GOD. You know that .You grew up singing in the church choir. Yes, its going to be very hard to bare, but be strong anyway. The case will be solved. You and your sister will need one another more now than ever. And as for your nephew that's missing, just keep praying.
