It’s been the number one Queen Latifah question for years: Is she gay?
But the question became more common after Latifah was linked with her personal trainer and rumors begin to swirl last December that the two were planning a wedding (which Latifah has denied).
In Sunday’s New York Times Magazine, the question came up again. In a story entitled, “Her Highness Still Rules” Latifah explained that whether or not people think she’s crouched in a closet regarding her sexuality, is up to them.
"I don't have a problem discussing the topic of somebody being gay, but I do have a problem discussing my personal life," the 38-year-old said. "You don't get that part of me. Sorry…We're not discussing it in our meetings, we're not discussing it at Cover Girl...nobody gets that.”
And for the umpteenth time, Latifah made it clear that, yes, it shall remain the question mark in the public’s psyche. “I don't feel like I need to share my personal life, and I don't care if people think I'm gay or not,” she said. “Assume whatever you want. You do it anyway."

Seriously. Who gives a damn? She makes good music (though it's been a loooong time), she's funny, pretty cute IMHO....who cares who she wakes up next to?
And if you do care, you've got too much time on your hands.
