Add Usher to the mix of artists who are encouraging people to vote via through song. The R&B superstar released a new song entitled, “Hush” on iTunes today.
In the song, Usher does more than encourage young people to vote, he also encourages them to get involved with their community well after election day. A portion of the song’s proceeds will benefit Usher’s New Look nonprofit organization, which is now in its ninth year. Usher also registered 17,000 new voters through the “I Can’t But You Can Campaign”, and recently cast his ballot in person in Atlanta in early voting on October 9.
