This video is truly a piece of artwork. The lyrics serve as a real wake up call to the many injustices happening in our country everyday, and the visual is even more grotesquely powerful and honest. The fact that it was released on Independence Day also adds to the bold statement attempting to be made here. Killer Mike definitely had some clearing of the mind to do on this record and who better to do it with than the lyrically political genius that is Ice Cube. This duo, coupled with the Grand Mal production is a great look for the hip-hop community and I'm happy to see the more talented individuals in the industry finally getting some due respect.
